very important we find a passage in the Book of Zechariah when, by a vision, you can unmask the figure of the devil and his never-ending action ever accuser.
"Then he showed me Joshua the high priest, standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan was at his right hand to accuse him. The angel of Lord said to Satan, "the Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord rebuke you that you have chosen Jerusalem "(Zechariah 3: 1-2).
Dear friends, do not think that what is written in Sacred Scripture is the product of fantasy and superstition, remember that the word of God is always present. We read together the following biblical quotations:

In the New Testament we can see about three hundred citations where is mentioned the devil and his works, nevertheless, however, in same steps, it is obvious the victory of Christ and the will of the Salvation Army. Jesus himself spoke of the devil on many occasions, and never urges us not to lower our guard.
"Let your speech be yes, yes, no, no more than this comes from evil" (Matthew 5, 37);
"Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive our debtors And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil "(Matthew 6: 11-13);
" You, therefore the parable of the sower whenever anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand, is the Devil and off what was sown in his heart: this is the seed sown along the road "(Matthew 13: 18-19);
"Have you come out with swords and clubs as a bandit? Every day I was with you in the temple and did not lay hands on me, but this is your hour, and the power of darkness "(Luke 22, 53);

Jesus lived among us with the specific intent to prove that the kingdom of Satan, man is corruptible, it can destroy, he did this.
"Whoever commits sin is of the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. Now is the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work "(1 John 3, 8).
He came to earth to establish his kingdom and the power to defeat the Evil One.

The final victory of Christ over Satan has been mostly sealed, and finally with his death on the cross for us.
"Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, they have also become involved, to reduce that through death he who has the power of death, is the devil, and deliver them who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery "(Hebrews 2: 14-15).
"Be sober, be vigilant. Your enemy the devil goes around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that your brothers throughout the world undergo the same sufferings of you " (1 Peter 5: 8-9).
Sacred Scripture is very clear about it. The existence of the devil is a reality.
